 Descendants is a registered local Children's charity, established in 1993, almost 26 years ago, primarily but not exclusively for Children of African and Caribbean descent. based in Acton since being established. The Group has recently moved offices and Club space. which will enable them to expand its services.  We run weekly club sessions at the new Bollo Brook Youth Centre, during term times.  Friday' term time 6-8pm. We run holiday projects.

This charity provides a focal point for senior citizens to meet friends, make new ones and enjoy a healthy nutritional meal.  We offer gentle standing and chair exercises, befriending, health workshops and more.  Our aim is to avoid isolation and social exclusion. We are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm - 4pm.

SASAC is a local charity running classes in sewing,  ESOL, ICT and soft furnishings. The courses are for women and take place in our well-equipped premises on South Acton estate. Most classes cost £60 for a 12 week term. During April we are running special sewing workshops on Saturdays.  These last 3 hours and cost £25.  The workshops cover a range of topics and places are limited.  Please contact us for more information.
